BIO

As a Senior Vice President in Brokerage, Luke Wilson’s current focus involves tenant representation, both on a national and local basis, along with project leasing.

Wilson has grown his representation role to serve strong national retail, restaurant and entertainment brands such as TopGolf, Dave & Busters, Smoothie King, and Studio Movie Grill. TopGolf, an international entertainment brand expanding rapidly in the US, uses a platform for site location and analysis that Wilson and The Retail Connection team developed in tandem with TopGolf. Wilson now oversees the national platform expanded to over 40 major markets across the US, seeking to open ten sites per year since 2014. Working with TopGolf and taking a more technical, data intensive approach to site selection has expanded Wilson’s service to a national level and provided opportunities to work with concepts in numerous states.

In DFW and its surrounding markets, Wilson works with Styles for Less, PLS Check Cashers, and local brands such as Mattison Avenue Salon Suites, The Holy Grail Pub, and others. Wilson has previously lead site selection for IHOP, Applebee’s, and Taco Bueno.

Wilson provides advisory in project leasing, serving various owners such as PLS Realty, individual investors, and Connected Development Services, an internal division of The Retail Connection. He has also worked with Inland Western [now North American Retail Properties] as well as Kimco, Prudential, and Post Properties.

Prior to joining TRC, he gained valuable experience in both the marketing and real estate industries utilizing skills in client relations, sales, production management and design. Wilson’s last entrepreneurial venture led him to provide expansion services into the Kansas City market for a successful apartment locating company.

Wilson is a member of The Real Estate Council [TREC], International Council of Shopping Centers [ICSC], and NTCAR.

He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Real Estate from The Hankamar School of Business at Baylor University where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He is also CPR and Scuba certified, as well as trained via the Hunter’s Safety Course.
