BIO

Jill Tiernan joined The Retail Connection at launch in January 2004 as an Executive Vice President. Tiernan focuses on restaurants, retailers and listings.

Tiernan is currently working with such notable clients as Golden Chick, Buffalo Wild Wings, Mandu Fitness, Feed Me Pronto, Cake Bar, and Beto & Son. She is presently listing the high-profile Trinity Groves Retail Project in West Dallas and has recently taken the Berkshire Court to 100% leased. Jill is also leasing Preston Place in Plano, Texas.

Jill is well known for being instrumental in creating neighborhoods in Dallas- Deep Ellum, West End, Downtown Main Street, and Trinity Groves.

Prior to joining The Retail Connection, Tiernan was a Senior Vice President of The Weitzman Group where she was a top producer. Tiernan’s expertise includes the negotiation of property leases, ground leases, land sales, and shopping centers sales as well as build-to-suits. In addition, Tiernan’s past experience includes representation of many landlords including; PNC Weingarten Realty Advisors, Kimco Realty, Lincoln Property Group, NewQuest, Hall Financial and Cinemark as well as tenant representation for MiCocina, Joe’s Crab Shack, Morton’s, Fuddruckers, and Friday’s.

Jill is a member of the Dallas Assembly, Oak Lawn Committee and International Council of Shopping Centers. Jill chaired the 2019 Stewpot luncheon with 800 attendees raising over $300,000. The Stewpot feed’s 1,000 homeless in Dallas daily. She is a high school mentor at Thomas Jefferson High School.

Tiernan earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Mills College in Oakland, California. She enjoys playing Texas-Hold-em poker and Hollywood Gin Rummy and Mahjong in monthly card groups.
