BIO
Thad Beckner joined The Retail Connection as Senior Vice President. He has spent the last 14 years specializing in retail project leasing, tenant representation, and investment sales in Texas and across the nation. Thad is skilled in facilitating complicated lease agreements and sales transactions as an experienced broker representing shopping centers, tenants, and retail property owners. Through this experience, he has established long-standing relationships with countless national and regional owners, tenants, and real estate professionals.
Before joining TRC, Thad was a Vice President at Inroads Realty, and before his time with Inroads, he was a Senior Associate at UCR and subsequently CBRE. Before that, he was an Assistant Vice President in Henry S. Miller’s retail division for 7 seven years.
Before moving to Texas, Thad graduated with a major in Political Science from the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. During college, Thad met his wife, Megan, a native Dallasite, while studying abroad in London, England. He and his wife live in Dallas with their two sons, Thad Jr. and Parks.
A Greeneville, Tennessee native, Thad’s hobbies include golf, travel, sporting events, and serving on the Advisory Board for the East Dallas Boys & Girls Club. Thad is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
