BIO
Susan Ridley serves as Senior Vice President at TRC. Ridley is an experienced commercial real estate broker, working with both landlords including KIMCO, Weber Company, Corinth Properties, BH Properties and tenants, such as Best Buy in TX, OK, NM and AK, Kohl’s, Fitness Connection, Shoe Carnival, Shoe Station, Container Store, and more than 30 other national retailers for over twenty five years.
Before joining TRC, she was a Senior Vice President at Venture Commercial. Prior to Venture, she served as an SVP at The Woodmont Company where she handled tenant representation accounts and the leasing and consultation for their retail project developments. Susan founded and was President of The Ridley Company where she was responsible for the tenant representation of Best Buy, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, Pacific Sales and many other national retailers, and provided project leasing and consultation services.
In addition, Ridley has worked with Trademark Company, The Weitzman Group, The Staubach Company and Henry S. Miller Company.
Susan has represented Best Buy Co for 30 years. She received awards for her design and implementation of the Kohl’s right size program in Texas that was later used as a model for the entire US. She was part of the national Kohl’s right size team and remains a part of the Kohl’s national pad program.
Because of her history and prominence in the retail industry, Susan is sought out by retailers, investors and landlords alike for consultation and guidance in leasing, shopping center acquisitions, and contacts within the industry.
When, not involved in real estate, Susan may be found singing in her church choir, traveling to remote areas, fly fishing and hiking or spending time with her son.
Susan grew up in Murfreesboro, TN where she attended Middle Tennessee State University, earned Bachelor of Arts and Masters degrees Summa Cume Laude, and after a 10 year period living in the forests of Georgia and Colorado, settled in Dallas, TX.
Susan is a winner of multiple DECO and CoStar awards.
