Sarah Kelly is the Property Accountant at The Retail Connection. She’s responsible for managing the company’s client’s accounts and portfolios for most of the company’s ventures. She brings her experience of excellent team-working skills and successfully working with different departments to complete business needs.
Before TRC, she was a staff property accountant for one of the U.S.’s largest residential property management companies, Highmark Residential. While at Highmark Residential, she managed the entries, completed the reports for all 30 properties, and prepared their standard monthly accrual entries. Sarah would also handle various accounting tasks for all the properties, like completing variance analyses and conducting monthly lease audits. Her peers recognized her outstanding work by nominating her for the Above the Call of Duty Medal of Merit award.
Sarah earned her bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Even though she was born and raised in Louisiana, she decided to move to Dallas to start her career in accounting. The end of 2021 will be her fifth year of enjoying the Dallas area.
Outside the office, you can find her cheering on her favorite NFL team, the Denver Broncos. And when she’s not watching football, Sarah loves watching her daughter practice gymnastics, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
