Ryan Chandler serves as an Assistant Vice President in Brokerage for The Retail Connection in the Houston, Texas office. Ryan’s learning curve has been accelerated with leasing in the Stratus Portfolio of HEB-anchored shopping centers. He also provides assistance with Cheeky Monkey’s, Chicken Salad Chick, Golf TEC, Geico, Baskin Robbins, Take Five Oil Change, Jersey Mike’s and Starbucks. Chandler’s passion for the business is further highlighted by his involvement in the development of The Woodlands Crossing.

Chandler was recently an intern for the Houston Marathon Committee assisting with contracts, negotiating between the Marathon Committee and runner’s agents, and helping to expand the Athlete Development Program. He had a significant role as the point-of-contact between the agents and elite runners before beginning his career as an analyst.

Chandler graduated from Rice University in Houston where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. While attending Rice, he was a four-year starter in centerfield for the Rice University Owls baseball team. He was also a member of the two-time CUSA Championship Squads in 2015 and 2017.
