BIO
Mathew Zimmerman began his journey with The Retail Connection as an intern in Fall 2021. Through his dedication and expertise, he progressed to the role of Assistant Vice President on the brokerage team, where he specializes in tenant and landlord representation.
Matthew recently was part of the sports investing and real estate group at NELTEX Sports Group. He assisted former Dallas Mavericks general manager and president of operations Donnie Nelson, where he ran the social media accounts for the team and increased the interactions by 70%. Matthew also interned at 1310 The Ticket “BaD Radio,” working closely with Bob Sturm and Dan McDowell’s on-air hosts and producer Jake Kemp. He would research and provide the content for the show’s segments.
Matthew graduated from Southern Methodist University, earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. Outside of TRC, you can catch him cheering for all the local sports teams.
