BIO
David is an Executive Vice President and Partner at The Retail Connection, with over 20 years of experience in retail real estate. Recognized as a national leader in retail tenant representation and strategic advisory, David represents several best-in-class clients, including Nordstrom Rack, The Container Store, Tesla, Life Time Fitness, PetSmart, World Market, and Lowe’s.
The Retail Connection’s representation of Bed Bath & Beyond highlights Fazio’s collaborative national advisory work, which resulted in the TRC successfully negotiating over 400 transactions across 25 states on behalf of Bed Bath & Beyond. Further, David and the TRC team also led Bed Bath & Beyond’s strategic expansion internationally throughout Mexico.
In addition to his core company and client responsibilities, David serves as a Board Member for Chainlinks Retail Advisors Network, collaborating closely with various Chainlinks affiliate offices across the country.
Fazio’s community involvement is highlighted by his ongoing work with The Real Estate Council [TREC], where he previously served as a Board Member and participated in TREC’s Mentorship Program. Additionally, David leads the retail leasing team for the inaugural Dallas Catalyst Project.
Fazio was recognized by Chain Store Age in 2019 as a National Top 10 Under 40 recipient and has been on numerous winning teams as recognized by DCEO and the Dallas Business Journal for Best Retail Deals and Best Developments, including Best Retail Deal of the Year in 2022 for representation of Stanley Korshak at The Crescent in Dallas and The Knox District redevelopment in 2023.
Fazio earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
In his free time, David enjoys spending time with his wife Colleen, daughters Madelyn and Charlotte, traveling and playing golf.
