Analyst | Brokerage | Houston
Position Location: Houston
Reports to: Executive Vice President
The Brokerage Analyst will have the opportunity to grow and learn about the competitive commercial real estate landscape under the mentorship of an Executive Vice President. Furthermore, the Brokerage Analyst will serve as a backstop to a brokerage team that represents a top-of-class nationally expanding entertainment concept. The Brokerage Analyst will build knowledge and participate in a national real estate site selection process, assist in forming and evolving national strategies for the client, and learn the deal structure and negotiation of development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain tracking databases relevant to the client, including, but not exclusive to, letters of Intent, new site inquiries, competitor tracking, travel, and other items pertaining to the site selection process.
- Facilitate and manage communication between the client and national brokerage network to ensure timely delivery and creation of materials required for Real Estate Committee meetings, Board of Director meetings, and other deadlines.
- Create and coordinate tour itineraries (flights, hotels, etc.) and tour materials with the national brokerage network.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Google Earth and mapping capabilities
- Based in Houston and able to be in the office daily
- Willingness to travel
- Analytical and organizational skills
- Effective, timely communicator (at all times and in all forms: email, text, phone)
- Texas Real Estate License (can be achieved after hiring)
- Must have a College Degree
- No prior working background is required, although interest and exposure to Commercial Real Estate in any sector are valuable and beneficial
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and take initiative
