BIO
David Levinson is a Senior Vice President with over 30 years of experience in third-party shopping center project leasing. David’s expertise spans across the areas of strip centers, neighborhood centers, community shopping centers, and power centers with a specialization in anchored shopping centers and non-anchored strip centers, throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Levinson has projects that are located throughout the entire Dallas | Fort Worth metroplex, including high-profile shopping centers that are either Walmart, Super Target, or grocery-anchored centers. David has represented both landlords and tenants throughout his 30-year career. He has an instinctive understanding and comprehensive knowledge of what is required to build a successful tenant mix within the centers he leases. He has represented noted clients such as Encore Properties, Crow Holdings, Agree Realty Corporation, Berlin Interest, Brixmor Group, Westwood Financial, Hermansen Land Development, LS Capital, Sneh Properties, Core Property Capital, RBI Properties, Pine Tree, Kimco, Inland Western, Inland American, Retail Properties of America, Equity One, Marguax Development, Armstrong Development, E2M Partners, Covington Realty Partners, Hunt Properties, Kroenke Group, Brookfield Properties, and Kite Realty Group.
In addition to his project leasings, he represents several tenants including, Slim 4 Life, The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Heena Salon. Levinson has served in senior management roles for the majority of his career and is one of The Retail Connection’s foremost advisors concerning small and large shop anchor leasing. Levinson has won numerous awards since joining The Retail Connection such as the Most Deals Award 2004 through 2007, the Most Listings in 2004, and was a Top Producer every year from 2004 to 2017. He was also recognized in the Dallas Business Journal as a Heavy Hitter every year from 2003 to 2009. Additionally, Levinson was named one of the CoStar™ Dallas Ft. Worth Power Brokers for Retail Leasing Transactions 2012 through 2020.
Levinson is a graduate of Kent State University and is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.
