 Zac Hoffer is a Senior Vice President in Brokerage with The Retail Connection’s Houston office. Since his arrival at TRC, Zac has worked in all facets of the business – including tenant representation, landlord representation, development, acquisitions and dispositions. Throughout his career, Zac has been instrumental in the expansion of numerous retailers and restaurants – including, LA Fitness, Bed Bath & Beyond, Carter’s/OshKosh, Chase Bank, DSW, Famous Footwear, Nordstrom Rack, Visionworks, Diamonds Direct, JoAnn and MedExpress, amongst others. 

Born and raised in Houston, Zac entered the real estate business with one goal in mind – to effectuate positive change in the retail landscape of what Houstonians not only need, but want, in the communities that they interact and involve themselves in on a daily basis. He has since traveled across the U.S. and internationally, in order to seek out the concepts that Houstonians deserve. Zac has been fundamental in the expansion strategies of a diverse set of first-to-market concepts, including sweetgreen, Mendocino Farms, Madison Reed, Van Leeuwen, Salty Donut and pressed juicery, with several more in the strategic planning stage. 

Additionally, he has been instrumental in the leasing of multiple shopping centers, including The Shoppes at ParkWest, Kingwood Place and Magnolia Place, as well as various single tenant assets across the state of Texas.

Hoffer began his professional career with The Retail Connection as an analyst in February 2012. Since then Zac has quickly worked his way through the ranks, earning The Retail Connection’s valued Rookie of the Year award in his first full year as a broker in 2014, and achieving Top Producer status each of the last 5 years, consistently accomplishing each level of internal production along the way. 

Hoffer earned a dual Bachelor’s of Science Degree in the Plan II Honors Program and in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Business. He holds a Texas Real Estate Salesperson License and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers [ICSC]. 

Zac is passionate about photography [specifically travel photography] as he and his wife, Robyn, are avid travelers with their sights set on touching foot in all seven continents.
