Rob is the Director of the Cromwell Research Center at The Retail Connection, where he oversees his team of three accomplished GIS Analysts who together serve TRC’s four offices.

A member of the TRC Team since 2007, Rob leverages his passion for people and places by specializing in spatial, demographic, and psychographic analyses, while providing meaningful contributions to local/national/international tenant representation projects, as well as national market expansion studies for future retail growth.

Rob has a Master of Science degree in Applied Geography with a core focus in Urban Retail Geography from the University of North Texas, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with a minor in Geography from Texas Christian University. He is GIS certified via UNT and has continued his education by completing specialized training in ESRI, MapInfo, Synergos | PopStats, and Trade Area Systems. Rob’s dedication to The Retail Connection over the years has earned him both Building Block award in 2014 and the Cornerstone award in 2020.

Rob has given back professionally by speaking on behalf of his department at the ChainLinks principals’ retreat, as well as giving multiple guest lectures for the Geography departments of both TCU and UNT. He also volunteers where he can – the latest being the North Texas Food Bank and Minnie’s Food Pantry.

Rob’s hobbies outside of work and volunteering include travel, cooking, never missing an episode of Jeopardy, and being the exasperated father to his hyperactive cat, Cecil.
