- Tenant Representation
- Project Leasing
Mitch Traub is an Executive Vice President with over 15 years of experience working with some of the largest retailers, restaurants, and landlords in Texas and nationally. Traub has shown tremendous success in his ability to represent both tenant and landlord in a transaction. He thrives on the challenge of initiating the appropriate strategic expansion plan for his clients and has proven very successful in this endeavor.
The longevity of his client relationships continues to prove his dedication to the industry and his extreme work ethic. For over 15 years, he has successfully represented and continues to represent national tenants such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Fish City Grill, and Hospitality USA (Sherlock’s Pub, Baker Street Pub, Local Pour, and BBC). Furthermore, he is equally proud and excited to have represented and continues to represent these best-in-class tenants: Nick & Sam’s, Old Town Italy, Hai Hospitality (Uchi, Uchiko, Uchiba and Loro), Paradise Bakery, The Original ChopShop, Bellagreen, Snappy Salads, Shell Shack, Becks Prime, Chuck E. Cheese and 33 Restaurant Group (Union Bear, Taverna Rossa, Heritage Pizza Co., Cadillac Pizza Pub and The Yard).
Working with great landlords and developers continues to be another passion and goal for him. He has successfully leased out several dynamic retail and restaurant projects over the years in the real estate business. While he has a long resume of successful project leasing, strategically choosing a real estate project to lease successfully is and will continue to be a motivating factor. Some of his landlord clients include Greenway Investment Company, Grace Development, Granite Properties, KBS Realty Advisors, Standridge Companies, RTG Capital, and RM Crowe.
Prior to joining The Retail Connection in 2004, Traub worked for The Weitzman Group where he began his career leasing shopping centers in the North Texas market. During this time, he received the “Breakout Award” in 2002 for significant production growth and in 2003 received the Dallas Business Journal award for “Best Deal in Developed Real Estate.” In March 2004, Traub was again recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as one of the Dallas “Rising Stars” in commercial real estate. He has consistently been named a top producer by his company and by the Dallas Business Journal since starting the business.
Traub is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers [ICSC]. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he received a Bachelor of Science degree.
