Matt Squire serves The Retail Connection’s San Antonio office as Senior Vice President. Matt has been a consistent producer at The Retail Connection in both the Dallas and San Antonio offices. His experience includes project leasing, tenant representation, and acquisitions/dispositions of investment property and surplus property dispositions.

Squire has worked with landlords that include RPAI, Inland, Vista Property Company, Blue Star Development, BridgeView Real Estate, Pine Tree Commercial Realty, Annaly Commercial Real Estate, Sears Roebuck and Co., Seritage Realty Trust, Burk Collins & Co., Connected Development, Lincoln Property Company, Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation, Pennybacker Capital, LS Capital, Excess Space, Sansome Pacific, and Kamin Realty Co.

His retail and restaurant clients include Fish City Grill, The Halal Guys, Everbrook Academy, Waxing the City, Shell Shack, Lazy Dog, Central Bank, Legendairy Milkshake Bar, DXL, Sunny Street Café, Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin’ Robbins, Great Clips, Lakeshore Learning, Brown Jordan, SharpeVision, and Taco Casa.

Squire has worked on some of Texas’ premier shopping centers including Shops at Rivercenter and South Bank on the Riverwalk in San Antonio; 500 N Lamar in Austin; Preston Royal, Casa Linda Plaza, Snider Plaza, Lincoln Park, and Uptown Plaza in Dallas; Village on the Parkway in Addison; and out of state Brookwood Village in Buckhead (Atlanta, GA).

Prior to joining The Retail Connection, Squire was a Leasing Associate with AmREIT Realty in Dallas for six years. At AmREIT he was responsible for leasing approximately 2 million square feet of shopping centers in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Atlanta, GA.

Squire is a graduate of Texas A&M University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and a Master’s degree in Land Economics and Real Estate.
