BIO
Kendall Ibsen is a Senior Vice President who plays a dual role in both project leasing and tenant representation with an emphasis on landlord representation. Ibsen specializes in traditional project leasing, mixed-use, high-profile retail assets, ground up, existing big box and shop space leasing. Her passion for the business is contagious and she has been named one of TRC’s Top Producers in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Having started her real estate career at Kimco, Ibsen quickly established relationships with some of the nation’s top retailers. She then joined MGHerring as a leasing representative and was directly involved with the leasing of over 750,000 SF of prime retail in some of the highest profile projects in Texas. Since joining The Retail Connection, Ibsen has been directly involved in leasing over 5 million SF of retail space in the DFW area.
She has worked with a broad base of landlord and developer clients such as RPAI, Endeavor, Goldman Sachs, RioCan, Excel Trust, Trammel Crow Residential, Pratco, Westdale, Benchmark, Corinth Properties, Sam Moon, Connected Development, Clearview, Greenway, Levcor, Hunt Properties, Vista Properties, Inland and many more. Her project leasing portfolio covers almost all core trade areas in DFW, and her tenant representation clients include local boutique retailers as well as Party City in Oklahoma.
Ibsen is a founder and the lead advocate of charity Karen’s Deal Foundation; and is an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers [ICSC], NTCAR, Junior League of Dallas, Deals in Heals, and Young Texans Against Cancer.
She graduated from Texas Tech University, earning a degree in Communications and lives in Dallas with her husband Trey, and their two children, Taylor and Drew.
