David Wilson

David Wilson, a 40-year industry veteran in development, redevelopment, asset management, and construction services, including land or project acquisition, planning, tenant leasing, construction and financing. Wilson is lead strategist in evaluating opportunities for retail investment for The Retail Connection.

He has developed over 5M square feet of retail in his career including the award-winning 800,000 SF Arlington Highlands at I-20 and Matlock Road, and the 730,000 SF The Village at Cumberland Park in Tyler. Prior to joining The Retail Connection, Wilson was an Executive Vice President of Cencor Realty Services and led the development, re-development or renovation of nearly one hundred shopping centers during his 27-year tenure with that company. Before joining Cencor, Wilson was a Vice President with both Henry S. Miller Company and Republic Bank of Texas.

Wilson has been involved in both ICSC [International Council of Shopping Centers] and ULI [Urban Land Institute] over the last three decades, where he has taught classes across the country on the development, re-development and renovation of shopping centers.

He graduated from Baylor University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics.
