Digital Marketing Specialist – Dallas Office

Position Location:  Dallas

Reports to:  Director of Branding and Digital Strategy

This digital marketing position has an emphasis on graphic design and is responsible for supporting The Retail Connection’s marketing efforts for its retail commercial real estate firm with four office locations: Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio. The ideal candidate is familiar with best practices for website design, email marketing design, and social media content creation. Attention to detail and project management/organization skills are very important, as this person will work with minimal oversight, with a variety of team members of various levels of management.

Job Responsibilities
Design – Point Person

  • Further evolve the look and feel of the TRC Brand
  • Update existing and create new TRC corporate marketing pieces for internal and external use, including corporate collateral, templates, invitations, announcements, newsletters, presentations, and trade show booth
  • Provide logos to 3rd party vendors in proper file formats
  • Monitor graphic projects to confirm TRC brand guidelines are always being met

Design – Assist as needed

  • Design property marketing flyers, site plans and email marketing using templates
  • Design new business pitches, market reports, and other long-form design pieces (InDesign, PowerPoint, or other appropriate digital design platforms)
  • Create website content and social media content (including on-site phone photography)
  • Assist in design of special projects as requested by management

Marketing – Assist as needed

  • Website updates for property pages, client pages, etc.
  • Social media community and content calendar management (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Analytics reporting
  • CRM data entry and administration
  • Email marketing project management and analytics
  • Research
  • Writing
  • Creation of processes/innovation to better serve TRC internal clients

Education | Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in a corporate marketing or agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing or graphic design, or experience and certifications commensurate to level of experience required
  • Work experience in the commercial real estate industry, retail industry, or other related corporate marketing environment or agency showing collaboration with team members and supervisors
  • Sense of style and current trends in business, design, and relevant industries

Business Skills

  • Excellent organizational/time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects independently or collaboratively with strong attention to detail and quality, and a sense of responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use new tools and skills quickly
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat (After Effects is a plus) and Microsoft Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce, MailChimp, Google Docs, Typeform
