Digital Marketing Coordinator | Marketing

Position Location: Dallas

Reports to: Director of Marketing

The Digital Marketing Coordinator will serve a critical role within the ChainLinks Marketing Network. Under the direction of TRC’s Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will strengthen the ChainLinks brand and maximize exposure through branded marketing collaterals, the ChainLinks social media channels, and website by coordinating with all 56 ChainLinks affiliated offices. Must understand the strategy, audience, and objectives behind social media avenues and programs, digital and physical design projects, provide appropriate solutions with minimal direction, and work with various team members and various levels of management.

Main Objectives

  • Manage the ChainLinks branded social media channels [including building new ones if/when they become relevant]—editing, approval, and scheduling all posts for all platforms, writing all social media captions, and analyzing post-performance
  • Engage, create and strengthen partnerships with brand followers and peer companies on all social channels
  • Conduct social media audits, stay on top of trends and tools in social media, marketing, technology, and advertising to ensure best practices are in place. Research and monitor activity of peer companies
  • Communicate with industry professionals and peers via social media to increase overall reach and audiences to develop a strong network
  • Design and implement email marketing and social media marketing campaigns of varying scope, including the visual conception and writing engaging content, organizing email lists, and evaluating performance
  • Facilitate and coordinate the creation of case studies involving multiple ChainLinks members
  • Draft creative writing in short and long-form for blogs, case studies, feature stories, etc.
  • Gather relevant information by collaborating with marketing team members in ChainLinks affiliated offices for website content, brochures, and company templates that meet brand standards
  • Use a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design
  • Stay current on all relevant applications and software changes or updates
  • Improve segmentation and customer data usage to improve performance
  • Identifying valuable keywords & hashtags to help improve Search Engine Optimization
  • Experience with Google AdWords, Facebook advertising, and other applicable targeted marketing programs preferred
  • Ensure that the brand message is consistent across all social channels and marketing materials
  • Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization

Education | Experience | Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Graphic Design or experience and certifications proportional to the level of experience required
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of the design and implementation of email marketing collaterals and tools, including proficiency in MailChimp
  • Must be creative and able to communicate ideas visually, verbally, and in writing
  • Must have an eye for detail and a sense of style and current trends and understand business and professional applications in design
  • Must be well versed in all aspects of graphic design, studio art, and principles of design, computerized design, commercial graphics production, printing techniques
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Motion graphics, Microsoft Office products, Mac OSX, and PC operating systems
  • Proficient in WordPress web design and development with a solid understanding of SEO KPI’s and ROI’s and web traffic metrics
  • Advanced editing and proofreading skills are essential with error-free spelling and grammar. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically writing for social media, including call-to-action. Strong adaptability in writing style to take on the Brand Voice in all copy for advertising
  • Proficient in scheduling, managing, and reporting social media content using Hootsuite or similar marketing & social media management tools
  • Ability to take the initiative, work with a sense of urgency, and set priorities with minimal direct supervision
  • Incredibly organized with strong attention to detail – willing to plan content calendars 2-3 months in advance
  • “Ownership” mentality to feel the authority and responsibility to execute without direct oversight
  • Confident to provide expert opinion and share point-of-view with senior management
  • Deliver on quick turnaround requests and multi-task without sacrificing accuracy with the ability to address minor emergencies and unexpected opportunities as they arise and go with the flow, without sacrificing long term goals
