Tripp Russ serves as a Vice President of Brokerage at The Retail Connection, focusing on tenant and landlord representation.
Tripp Russ has helped create strategy and oversee the real estate expansion with polished, elevated brands such as: SoulCycle, Equinox, Mendocino Farms, allbirds, sweetgreen, Salt & Straw and some of the best national brands such as: Carters, Navy Federal, Pei Wei, Urban Air, Coldstone Creamery, MOD Pizza etc., to name a few. Collaborating on several high-profile landlord projects across Texas including Knox Street – Dallas, the Crescent – Dallas, South Congress – Austin, and Heights Mercantile – Houston, Russ has been an important part in shaping the outlook for The Retail Connection’s high-street urban core retail platform.
Tripp is an important part in shaping the outlook for The Retail Connection’s high-street urban core retail tenant representation platform. He has also broken several records within the company including; the youngest broker to attain the title of Vice President and broke the company’s 15-year record for production for their Rookie of the Year award. Russ is increasingly becoming more and more influential on a national scale as his real estate implementation is shifting beyond the Texas market.
He attended the University of Richmond in Virginia where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. Fluent in Spanish, he minored in Latin American and Iberian studies. He also served on the executive board of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and was a member of the University of Richmond club soccer team. Russ holds a Texas Real Estate Salesperson License and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers [ICSC], the ICSC Next Generation Program, and NTCAR.
