Melanie Richardson serves as the Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer as well as Office Administrator of The Retail Connection. She has been with the company since its founding in 2003.
In addition to providing administrative support to the CEO, she is the corporate office point of contact, overseeing and supporting daily office operations, client and vendor relations and managing the administrative support team. Richardson also has specific HR responsibilities which include posting administrative positions, screening, and interviewing candidates and on-going management.
Prior to joining TRC, she worked for over a decade at Weitzman in various roles, ultimately becoming the second Assistant to the CEO and the Executive Assistant to the President of the Retail Division.
She is a graduate of Gladewater High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Texas as well as an Associate of Arts Degree from Kilgore Junior College.
